"Jacob Broughton started his own acoustic solo project called Zebra Mountain. I recorded the first and only set of songs (album) that he wrote on his own while under this solo identity. We, together produced and composed the album that would be called Let's Party 'Til We Die. A certain amount of time after it's completion, we were well into conjuring a new band together, much like our old band Think Of Wall Paint, where we both wrote songs, and those songs were constructed from a collection of intertwined parts written both separately and while in each other's presence. While coming up with a new band name that would represent a new era in our collaboration, he suggested that the new project be called Zebra Mountain, his reason being that Zebra Mountain was simply, a good band name, not wanting to waste a good name when we were meanwhile taking a considerable amount of time to come up with a new one. He made this suggestion in such a manner, knowing that there would likely be a few who remembered Let's Party 'Til We Die and would, thusly, generate a misconception that Jacob, the sole author of Let's Party 'Til We Die (lyrics) is also the lead writer of the following Zebra Mountain works. Regardless of this concern, I empathetically and, perhaps, carelessly, but more so, trustingly agreed. The name of the band was of less concern to me than the operation and existence of the band itself. This is one of few reasons Jacob, himself kept me from releasing it online any further while also being why many Zebra Mountain fans do not know of this album to this day; it isn't essentially the same music-type as the music of the band, Zebra Mountain. Although, there was one great song, seldom performed live that was rereleased on T.B.T.S. In a few days, it will be seven years since this album was finished. Happy birthday.."
